Follow-up Options
Successful knowledge transfer through continuous learning and long-term study
The TREE teaching concept includes the support of on-going learning and long-term independent study according to individual needs. Therefore, after the completion of the seminars in Berlin, the participants of the TREE project will also be offered the option of further training through the TREE online platform under Distance Learning, or of seeking Advice on practice-related issues.
The TREE online platform
In cooperation with the distance-learning institute of the Berlin University of Applied Sciences, from 2009 the Renewables Academy offers several distance-learning courses through the TREE online platform. Through this platform, TREE participants have the opportunity to continue their education and qualify for a diploma from the university.
Distance learning:
- Overview on RE and EE technologies
- Project financing
- International market- and business development
- Quality management
- Supply-chain management
- International energy policy
- Policy and legal frameworks for RE and EE
- Investment and cost estimation
- Project management
- Marketing
- Contracts and other legal issues
Advice
Up to the end of 2009, TREE participants will be able to seek advice on problems and technical issues from the Renewables Academy.
Guidelines
Legislators and employees of government bodies receive specialised publications – including international benchmarks - to facilitate the formulation of legal frameworks for RE and EE, which were developed by the Renewables Academy.
