Training in the RENAC training centre
In addition to the theoretical essentials, the TREE seminars also include a practical aspect, which is undertaken in the newly-opened RENAC Training Centre in Berlin.
Here, engineers can learn about renewable-energy and energy-efficiency technologies in their application. Through "hands-on" exercises, they will have the opportunity to experiment with the planning, installation, operation and monitoring of various systems in practice.
The centre includes a variety of technological components, exhibits for practical experiments together with modern computer workstations for plant design, simulation, calculations and research.
Numerous technologies can be demonstrated in the RENAC Training Centre.
Components of renewable energies technologies:
- Solar thermal
- Photovoltaic
- Bioenergy
- Heat Pumps
- Small wind-power systems
Components of energy efficiency technologies:
- Motors
- Pumps
- Pressurized air systems
- Control technologies
- Ventilation and air conditioning
- Heating systems
- Lighting Systems
Note: Currently, coinciding with the opening of the RENAC Training Centre in Autumn 2008, there is a special exhibition on energy efficiency measures in buildings.
